Whether you’re a veteran who remembers the pain from last year or a new player tempted by the pretty art and soft ASMR, read this before you spend a single diamond.

🧨 What is Oracle of Stars?

Oracle of Stars is a gacha wheel event that first dropped in Feb 2024. It was instantly hated by much of the player base due to:

Absurd costs

No pity system

Terrible drop rates

A frustrating and predatory design that punishes unlucky players It’s back and unfortunately, nothing has improved.

🎡 How the Wheel Works

No more free spins: In the original release month, we got 1 free spin every 48 hours. That’s gone now. Zero free attempts. You pay for every single spin.

Each spin costs 100 diamonds, or 1,000 for a 10-spin.

What you can get: - A random 4★ Memory (with very low odds) - An accessory (cosmetic, very niche appeal) - Oracle Dice (used for shop redemptions)

Mechanics: - If you land on a Memory you don’t own, you get the full card. - Land on it again? You get shards to rank it up. - If you land on an accessory, it disappears and turns into a dice space for future spins.

💎 Redemption System and Costs

Didn’t get lucky? You’ll need to redeem with Oracle Dice. Here’s how that works:

Each 4★ memory in the shop costs 880 Oracle Dice.

At worst, that’s 17,600 diamonds if you had to spin until you reach that amount.

Even if you count the milestone rewards (which give you a few free dice here and there), you’re still looking at around 15,000+ diamonds to get just ONE 4★ memory.

Let’s say that again: 15,000–17,600 diamonds for a single 4★ with no pity or guarantee.

Accessories can also be redeemed with dice, but they show up in milestones too (up to the 150th spin), so if you really want them... still not worth it, honestly.

⚠️ DROP RATES: They’re Worse Than You Think

This is the real kicker. The drop rates are appalling:

4★ Memory: 0.33%

Accessory: 1%

Oracle Dice ×100: 4%

Oracle Dice ×50: 12%

Oracle Dice ×20: 15%

Oracle Dice ×10: 50%

Oracle Dice ×5: 15%

That means:

You have a 1 in 300 chance to get a 4★ Memory per spin.

Most of your spins will give you only 5–10 Oracle Dice, which isn’t even 1% of what you need to redeem the memory.

Accessories (at 1%) are also stupidly rare, and once you get one, it’s gone from the wheel and replaced with dice, reducing your chances even more.

🧠 Why Older Players Hate This Banner

Take it from someone who was there during the first Oracle of Stars:

You feel punished for bad luck. There is no mercy mechanic. No pity. No safety net.

No free spins make this inaccessible to F2P players entirely.

You can’t select the character or memory you want. It’s all RNG-based.

It’s deceptive. Beautiful card art and nice voice lines lure players in, but once you start spinning, it’s a massive diamond sink for nearly nothing.

We were begging for pity or better odds last time. The devs didn’t change a thing.

girl's guide to academic success: ep 1! ⊹˚. ♡

──★ ˙ ̟🎀 this post focuses on: actively rooting for success! ♡ part 2 -> ♡

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ 1. organisation

first off, have something to organise ur academic life with! i personally use notion (which i'll add later) but u can use anything as long as it's cute, convenient, unique and accessible to you, your life and your schedule specifically. especially as a visual learner, i like to have somewhere i can dump literally everything regarding a singular area in my life, so i do this for almost everything along with school and i highly recommend this <3

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ 2. recognition of talents & improvements

analyse your strengths and weaknesses. think back on tests, exams, marks, and analyse which ones you got highest and lowest on. dont beat urself up for it, obviously; it's just to check which subjects you're doing good in and which ones have room for improvement. for example i love science but im not the best at it sometimes and we had an assessment recently and i didn't get as high as i'd like so i wrote down a little list on a piece of paper in my pencilcase for the topics i got the least in for me to study on my own to practise later.

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ 3. laying out goals

set down specific goals; i like to do this week by week accustomed to my schedule that week in my school notion page along with images and vision boards based on the term/semester, but you can do it for the week, the month, the year, anything as long as its helpful to you

plan accordingly based on ur time energy. when creating any to do list or productivity plan dont pile a ridiculous amount onto it that just leaves you stressed and overwhelmed because that defeats the entire point; this works the same for academic plans and goals and lists etc.

put extra work in to the subjects you know will help you in the future. for example, for my personal aspirations i need to excel in english, history and textiles so i always try my absolute hardest and put my all into those lessons and do extra studying for them in my free time where i can. school is to prepare you for the future so take advantage of that

please don't be shy to ask questions! that's what teachers are there for and you won't have them forever so take advantage of it while you can! you can even do it in that little window of time just after class if ur too nervous to ask in class. for example, on my last english exam i went to my teacher after class and asked about what i needed to improve on to get the marks i missed next time, and he told me i added too much detail and some other things so i wrote it down and am keeping a note of it to remind me to improve on that next time! (i got top of my class though so i didnt mind. still kind of pissed i added too much detail though)

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ 7. participation

participate! ok im saying this as someone who still struggles with social anxiety a fair amount but if u wanna get higher marks and get on good terms w ur teacher i 100% recommend this. i don't do this in every class but i do it where i can and when i'm confident in my answer, and it's really intimidating at first but what i did is i did it first in the classes i felt most comfortable on and continued from there. it gets easier every time i swear, and nobody's judging you; they'll forget about it after five minutes. plus, what would they be judging you for? being smarter than them?

this is mentioned a lot in these types of posts but if you're tired or burnt out or overworked or just feel like you need to take a break then do. do the best you can and compromise like i said earlier if you need to, just make sure u are prioritising yourself over anything. <3

It was hard to say what to do next.

How does one continue to live after all that destruction ?

How does one continue to live after all that death and solitude that seemed to follow her whenever she went ?

Just a few days ago, Jyn Erso might have laughed if someone told her that at one point, life could be so quiet. That life didn't always mean running away or being abandoned by the people close to her. And that one day, she wouldn't be afraid of the silence who reigned in this atmosphere.

Jyn Erso had never known peace. The closest she got to it was back on Lah'mu, where her mother taught her all kinds of things, and her father would farm. At that time she was content, even happy. But after Lah’mu, she had known nothing but fear, and abandon.

Now, everything was different. She found a meaning in her life, through her father's plans. She found faith through the rebellion.

And she found hope through Cassian Andor.

The man that lied to her, but also the man who came back for her every time.

The man who trusted her when no one else would.

The man who took her hand on Scariff, and embraced her when they believed it was the end.

At that moment, she felt at peace knowing she would be back with her loved ones, and she believes Cassian Andor felt the same thing. Death would open its arms for them.

But it was not the end.

It seemed like a miracle to everyone, and even them, that they got away.

And it was surely this that scared her.

They got away. They survived the end of the world.

All she had known her entire life was war. And from that she's been told, so has Cassian. She was afraid. How was she supposed to continue her life after the war ?

But she was certain for once : she was not in the cave anymore.

The cave had disappeared just like Scarif.

It exploded into millions different pieces.

And although this new life was terrifying, she had one thing now.

A companion, a partner, a fellow.

Without knowing so, Cassian Andor has been her anchor. Although it was her father that pushed back into the rebellion, Cassian was what pushed her to continue. To continue into something that only brought her pain and death. Could he have been her hope ? It was hard to say.

But one thing was for sure : Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor were alive. Nothing nor nobody could stop them anymore. Because now they both had each other.

When life had taken everything from each of them, they found each other when they needed it the most.

Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor would learn to heal, to forgive and to live.

And it's what mattered the most at the end.

Tonys 2025 Predictions: Who Will Win? And Who Should?

Tony voters do not have it easy. As the quality of (some) shows on Broadway improves, so does the difficulty and futility of ranking them. Yet not fully futile, at least for me in my fictional Tonys: A long look back at the 2024-25 season, during which I saw all 42 eligible Broadway productions, offered a chance to recall, reorganize and enjoy in memory the work of thousands of very talented artists. Thus, below, my take on the likely winners (marked with a ✓) and my personal “shouldas” (marked with a ★) in 17 of the 26 competitive categories. I hope your own Tonys, no doubt different from mine, prove as rewarding.

✓ Darren Criss, “Maybe Happy Ending” Andrew Durand, “Dead Outlaw” Tom Francis, “Sunset Boulevard” ★ Jonathan Groff, “Just in Time” James Monroe Iglehart, “A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical” Jeremy Jordan, “Floyd Collins” Criss, finding his inner robot, is terrific in “Maybe Happy Ending,” a story about future androids that, like humans of all eras, must face obsolescence and the loss of love it entails. I’d have voted for him — or Jordan, delivering the difficult “Floyd Collins” score as if it were his soul itself singing — had I not, in the last hot minutes of the Broadway season, seen Groff play Bobby Darin in “Just in Time.” The show itself is not as good as Criss’s or Jordan’s, but Groff flooded the zone (sometimes literally — he’s a shvitzer) in one of the best pure Broadway performances I’ve ever seen.
